Te Kura Kaupapa Maori o Te Rito

The opportunity of a new building was taken to create a central hub for the kura where visitors can be welcomed, pulling together, and connecting the existing buildings around this new place.

The practice worked closing with the kura to understand their technical, social and cultural requirements in a building that needs to be flexible while at the same time respecting tikanga.
