We focus on making places for people. People are at the centre of what we do. We are interested in creating space that enables people to come together, socialise and share; to create community. This might be in a school, workplace, hospitality or home. It might be in combination. How can housing create a sense of community? How can different types of spaces work together to create a sense of community?

At the same time, we are interested in spaces that provide retreat, calm and sanctuary; where we can recover and focus on our wellbeing. In this, we look to be inspired by our natural environment; to enhance and provide a stronger connection.

We use an evidence-based approach to ensure the best outcome. Research, experience and working with leaders in the industry has provided the tools to ensure a space performs, for example that a learning space truly enables the educators approach to learning.

The passive house standard provides us a holistic science based system backed by 30 years of continuous research and proven performance. This ensures energy efficiency, comfort, health, wellbeing, improved productivity, durability, long term affordability while making a positive response to the climate emergency. It enables us to make better decisions early in the design process, providing the greatest gains for the least cost.
