Buick Street

35 Buick Street was the extensive refurbishment and extension of an 1890’s working man’s cottage to suit life in the 21st Century. This included clever use of space, creating a sense of spaciousness in a relatively small building. The extension is both modern and contemporary while fitting in with the existing house.

A key focus of the project was improving the environmental performance of the building.
Care and attention was taken with creating a more airtight, better insulated building with solar hot water heating and under floor heating.
