Lower Hutt House

This four-bedroom new build in the Hutt takes inspiration from Sri Lankan Modernist architect Geoffrey Bawa. Designed as a contemporary family home, the proposal responds carefully to the site, positioning the house to maximise usable outdoor and indoor space while capturing natural sunlight throughout the day. The design aims to create a warm, connected home that balances privacy, openness, and a strong relationship between the architecture, landscape, and surrounding environment.
